Christmas Tree Scented Candle
To me, lighting and fragrance are two of the most important features of my holiday decorating.
I love experimenting with different kinds of twinkling lighting, and I think nothing says Christmas quite like the smell of a Christmas tree. So, it’s not surprising that one of my go-to decorations for the holidays is a Christmas tree scented jar candle.
Actually, not just one, but several candles in several rooms.
I’ve tried different brands over the years and have found several I like, but last year I received this “Be Merry” 9.5 oz Holiday Tumbler Candle as a gift, and I just loved the Christmas tree fragrance.
I loved it so much that I ordered several more to spread around my house and to keep in stock for future.
One thing I love about this candle is that it has a strong throw. It has such a nice, but not overpowering, freshly-cut Spruce scent, and it fills a room so nicely. It seems to burn longer than most of my candles, too, which I love.
I like to keep one candle in each of my bathrooms, and I always make sure they are lit when guests arrive because the glow and fragrance make for such a homey feel.
I like to make my house feel welcoming, and the added touch of a lit candle in the bathroom is perfect. I usually surround the candle with greenery, and it looks so nice with a small Christmas nightlight and Christmas themed towels in the bathrooms.
I also like to put some candles inside my fireplace when I’m not lighting a fire there.
I like to put one of the “Be Merry” Christmas tree tumblers in the middle of the fireplace, surrounded by a variety of other, non-scented candles.
I’ve tried adding a lightly scented vanilla candle to the mix, and I like that combination, too. When I do light a fire in the fireplace, I’ll place the candles up on the mantle for additional ambience.
Another place I love to place a candle is on the stovetop, at the end of the evening after the kitchen is cleaned up from our holiday meal and everything is put away.
The flicker of the candlelight reflected in the tea kettle is such a cozy sight and really sets the mood for settling down to a quiet evening with the family.
A nice feature of this Christmas tree scented candle is that it comes in a nice gift box, so this year I plan to give one out to each of my guests when they come for our annual holiday party.
